What is included in the free plan?

Sustrax Lite Free provides annual tracking for one business site, an annual results total and a PDF report. Inputs cover selected energy and travel activities, within the plan’s entry limits.

The comparison lists five flight routes, up to five vehicles, six fuel records, four public transport records and two homeworking records. Freight, water, waste and commuting inputs require a higher plan. See the shared plan comparison for the full breakdown.

How to calculate your business footprint

1. Create a Sustrax account. Registration and sign-in happen in the Sustrax app, which opens as your reporting workspace.
2. Choose your reporting period and site. Keep the boundary consistent across the records you enter.
3. Gather activity data. Start with energy bills, fuel records and business travel details.
4. Enter and check your records. Use actual consumption where available and check the units.
5. Review your results and PDF report. Look for missing data and the activities contributing most to your footprint.

A useful starting point for small businesses

The free calculator helps you establish an initial picture and identify where to take action. It is particularly useful for a single-site business starting to measure energy and travel emissions. If your footprint depends heavily on purchasing, freight or other value-chain activities, check category coverage before treating your result as a complete inventory.

When should I upgrade?

Lite X increases the capacity for selected inputs and adds historical-year access and Excel export. Lite XL adds up to five sites and further inputs including freight, water, waste and commuting. AX and MX add multi-user workflows, bulk upload and broader category options; MX tracks monthly.

Your business records and reports live in your Sustrax account. Opening the app gives you the full workspace for registration, sign-in and ongoing reporting. You can return to the same account as your footprint develops.
