Build reporting around your organisation

Set up sites within your company and give each location its own profile. Site settings provide context for emissions calculations, including location and electricity supplier factors. Site tags help group locations for analysis.

Where group administration is configured, teams can manage multiple companies and review wider results. Discuss your company structure and reporting boundary during setup so the workspace reflects how your organisation reports.

Give people the access they need

AX and MX support multiple users. Company administrators, site administrators, editors and viewers have different responsibilities and access. This lets central teams coordinate reporting while colleagues contribute data or review results within their assigned access.

Collect consistently across sites

Use category-specific upload templates to bring in bulk data. Records are validated before import and uploaded files are retained for reference. For group administrators, exact matching site names can support uploads across companies in the group.

Notes and evidence attachments help explain a record’s origin. Consistent input categories and reporting dates keep site comparisons meaningful across the whole reporting year.

Compare results without losing the detail

Review all sites together, select individual locations, or compare the footprint across site tags. AX tracks annually; MX adds monthly views and custom date ranges. Location-based and market-based electricity views help explain differences in grid and supplier emissions factors.

Check which sites and dates are selected before exporting. A report filtered to a single office should not be mistaken for the full company footprint.

Example: an organisation with offices and warehouses

A central sustainability manager could ask site teams to contribute energy records, while finance supplies purchasing information. Site tags could distinguish offices from warehouses. The manager could then compare locations, investigate gaps, and review the consolidated footprint before export. This is an illustrative workflow, not a customer case study.

Which Sustrax plan do you need?

Lite Free and Lite X each support one site. Lite XL supports up to five sites but does not include multiple users or bulk data uploads. AX and MX support unlimited sites within the agreed scope, together with multi-user access and bulk uploads. Choose MX when monthly tracking is required.
